Metro Keyboard Mechanism with Platform Order Code 76KB490P
Metro 490 is an adjustable keyboard mechanism that is attached under your desk and carries a separate platform of size to suit your needs (our standard stock size is 700 x 300 x 25mm). Metro 490 drops 160mm and locks anywhere between level and the 160mm drop. Where your desk is deep enough (say 800mm+) the platform can be cut out of the desk. Where you have a more modern desk of 700mm depth the platform can be added to give extra distance. (Please note that the Retractable version is no longer available.) If you wish to raise a front platform instead of lowering, the unit can be turned back to front.
Brackets are finished in black matt powder coat and are 490mm wide and unit is 400mm deep. Handle protrudes 60mm on right side. Rear section is 70mm deep in closed position and is 270mm long. Front bracket is 130mm long and tapers from 10mm to 20mm.
NOTE: Standard platform colour is dove grey. Screws are not provided as we do not know the desk thickness. Ensure the screws are no longer than the user’s desk thickness to avoid points penetrating the surfaces.
When attaching to the desk allow a 10mm gap between the back of the platform and the front edge of the desk to prevent jamming when lowering
