Nice small keyboard with shallow action

Posted by David on 10th May 2022

It's quite hard to find a Windows/Linux keyboard with shallow action, similar to the Apple Magic Keyboard. This one comes pretty close. I moved to this keyboard from a Razor BlackWidow v3 Mini which was causing me a lot of pain. This one has a good length USB cord and works out-of-the-box on Ubuntu. One complaint is that it is not possible to lower the legs so it is always on an angle. This can make it shake a little bit, especially if you type on it on a standing desk. A second complaint is that having caps lock on seems to light up num lock and scroll lock. It would also be nice to have an "Insert" key, even if it's only available through pressing "fn"
