There has always been a call for a simple non adjustable writing platform and over the years the Metro Wedge has found a ready use where an angled platform is only required intermittently. With the growing demand for our Crystal range of products it was inevitable the old MDF board should be superceded by light clear acrylic.

The new Crystal Wedge is set at 13 degrees with the front touching the desk surface and the rear at 80mm. It still has a generous size at 570mm x 320mm with 250mm long centre ledge. Customer feedback suggested we should provide a higher ledge and this we have done by increasing it to 25mm high while still retaining a centre position to not restrict writing.

Of real benefit is the ease of moving it around your desk as the Crystal Wedge is only 1.25 kg in weight and packed in its individual carton weighs in total 1.8Kg.

Crystal Wedge Reading Board

This is a well designed product, Ideal for reading and writing or as an angled support for your keyboard. It is also lightweight enough to sit comfortably on the lap for note taking, though it might be a little wide for the average lap. For those who prefer to sit while lecturing or making a presentation it is an excellent desk accessory replacement for a lecturn.
